Goalista (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Account & profile: Email address and basic profile details you provide (e.g., display name).
  • App usage: Pages viewed, interactions, and device information collected in aggregate (via privacy-friendly analytics).
  • Favorites & settings: Your starred teams/leagues/players and preferences saved to your account.
  • Support: Content of messages you send us (e.g., email).

How we use information

  • Provide and improve Goalista’s features and performance.
  • Personalize content (e.g., favorites, locale).
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse.
  • Communicate about changes, issues, or updates.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

We process data to perform our contract with you (provide the service), based on our legitimate interests (security, improvements), or with your consent where required.

Data sharing & processors

We don’t sell your personal data. We use trusted processors to run Goalista:

  • Supabase: Auth, database, and media storage for your account, favorites, and app data.
  • Vercel: Hosting and privacy-friendly analytics (performance + usage).
  • YouTube (optional embeds): If you play an embedded video, YouTube may receive usage data (see Google Privacy Policy).

International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries. We take steps to protect your data consistent with applicable laws.

Data retention

We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time.

Your rights

  • Access, update, or delete your information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Portability of your data.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Children

Goalista is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
